Release time:
27 Dec,2019
Source:
Since the third quarter of 2008, the production and sales situation of the textile machinery and equipment industry in Jiangsu Province has been significantly impacted by the international financial crisis. Although it is predicted that the production situation of the Jiangsu textile machinery and equipment industry will not change significantly in the near future, according to relevant statistical data, the industry's total industrial output value, product sales revenue, and profits have increased month by month in recent months, indicating an improvement in the operating situation. At the same time, Jiangsu's position as a major province in China's textile machinery production and sales for many consecutive years has not changed. In accordance with the requirements of the "Guiding Opinions on the Adjustment and Revitalization of Jiangsu's Textile Industry" announced by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in May this year, Jiangsu textile machinery and equipment enterprises will accelerate the pace of key manufacturing technology research, and actively develop and research key new textile machinery and equipment in areas such as chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, knitting, and dyeing and finishing.
Restructuring, the strong get stronger
Statistics from the Jiangsu Textile Machinery and Equipment Industry Association on 45 key backbone enterprises in the province show that from January to August 2009, the province's textile machinery industry achieved a total industrial output value of 4.655 billion yuan, an 8% decrease year-on-year, while the decrease from January to June compared to the same period last year was 14.47%; product sales revenue reached 4.569 billion yuan, a 9% decrease year-on-year, while the decrease from January to June compared to the same period last year was 12.45%; total profit was 289.8 million yuan, a 25% decrease year-on-year, but a 3% increase month-on-month; total profits and taxes were 502 million yuan, an 11% decrease year-on-year, but a 3% increase month-on-month; per capita profit was 12,600 yuan, a 9% decrease year-on-year, but a 14% increase month-on-month.
"Affected by the international financial crisis, except for the main economic indicators of non-woven machinery and warp knitting equipment in knitting, which remained basically flat year-on-year, other types of machinery are basically in a downward trend, especially the decline in profits is faster," said Wang Zhijie, secretary-general of the Jiangsu Textile Machinery and Equipment Industry Association. "Various economic indicators of the Jiangsu textile machinery and equipment industry have shown a significant decrease compared to the same period last year, especially the decrease in economic benefits is greater than the decrease in total industrial output value and sales, indicating that some products have output and sales, but the prices are far lower than before, with serious arrears, and the phenomenon of accounts payable becoming "bad debts" frequently occurs. The main reason for this situation is the sharp reduction in new projects in the textile industry, and insufficient new project driving force."
Wang Zhijie told reporters that the most prominent feature of the Jiangsu textile machinery and equipment industry is that the development gap between enterprises is larger than before, the market share of advantageous enterprises is also larger, and the operating situation is relatively good, some even have increased sales.
For example, there were once 10 to 20 enterprises in Jiangsu producing fine-spinning machines, but now they are concentrated in two enterprises: Mazoli (Dongtai) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jiangyin Jiangdong Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; Jiangyin Sifangji and Jiangyin Huafang New Technology Research Co., Ltd.'s warping machine orders are already full this year; Jiangsu Hongyuan Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Haiyuan Machinery Co., Ltd.'s chemical fiber silk processing equipment accounts for more than 70% of the national output, and sales this year have increased by about 30% year-on-year. In the field of equipment and accessories, Jiangyin Tianyu Nickel Mesh Co., Ltd.'s rotary screen printing machine nickel mesh accounts for more than 60% of the national share, and this year's output and efficiency have increased simultaneously. In addition, there are Jinlun Science and Technology Co., Ltd., which produces metal needle cloths; Changzhou Tongheng Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which produces rollers; Changzhou Steel Reed Co., Ltd., which produces high-end special-shaped reeds; and Changzhou Hangyue Textile Machinery Parts Co., Ltd., which produces heddles. The operating conditions of these advantageous enterprises are generally good this year.
At the same time, nearly 1/5 of the enterprises in Jiangsu's textile machinery and equipment industry have closed down or are close to closing down. "Last year, our report included 50 representative enterprises, but this year there are only 45, and the sales revenue of these 45 key enterprises accounts for nearly half of the more than 800 textile machinery and equipment enterprises in the province," said Wang Zhijie. "Obviously, another round of restructuring is coming."
Development, Emphasis on Key Areas
Regarding future development, Wang Zhijie said that at the end of May this year, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government announced the "Guiding Opinions on the Adjustment and Revitalization of Jiangsu's Textile Industry," requiring textile machinery and equipment enterprises to conduct key manufacturing technology research and development, and actively develop and research key new textile machinery and equipment in areas such as chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, knitting, and dyeing and finishing; accelerate the research and development and industrialization of energy-saving and emission-reduction dyeing and finishing equipment with high efficiency, continuity, and short processes, as well as online energy and resource recovery and reuse systems; improve the level of electromechanical integration and intelligence; start research and development of efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly processing technology equipment for utilizing agricultural by-products, bamboo, fast-growing forests, and other plant straw materials; and develop printing and dyeing post-finishing technology equipment that meets the requirements of "small batches, multiple varieties, and fast delivery."
The plan requires Jiangsu's textile machinery and equipment industry to improve quality and efficiency, focusing on key areas, which has greatly encouraged the enthusiasm of textile machinery enterprises for product development. The chemical fiber, spinning, and dyeing and finishing new upgrading and replacement textile machinery projects of Lianyun Port Yingyou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., Sula (Jintan) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., Mazoli (Dongtai) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., Changzhou Tongheng Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Wangong Technology Group Co., Ltd. have been listed as key projects in Jiangsu Province. These projects are all implemented around the requirements of energy saving and consumption reduction, high efficiency, and electromechanical integration of the new generation of textile machinery. Among them, the Lianyun Port Yingyou Textile Machinery's textile printing and dyeing post-finishing equipment manufacturing production line technological transformation project plans to invest more than 40 million yuan to produce 20 sets of LMV541A fully automatic intelligent flat-screen magnetic bar printing machines annually.
The high-performance drafting device and key parts special project is undertaken by Changzhou Tongheng Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and the product is a new generation of super high-precision mechanical wave-free roller, high-precision and high-performance rocker, and high-performance compact spinning device. The project plans to invest 43 million yuan, expand the production plant by 5,000 square meters, and add 34 sets of advanced production lines and equipment, including 8 sets of imported equipment. Based on the prediction of China's and surrounding countries' textile production situation and market demand, the project plans to produce 1 million sets of new generation super high-precision mechanical wave-free rollers, 300,000 sets of high-precision and high-performance rockers, and 600,000 spindles of high-performance compact spinning devices annually.
The project of Mazoli (Dongtai) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. is an automatic winding machine and fine-spinning winding combined machine. The project plans to invest 560 million yuan, through integrated innovation and the introduction, digestion, absorption, and re-innovation, to complete 7 research topics: "high-speed multi-functional air-spinning connector", "automatic tension adjustment and yarn detection system", "high-speed winding machine metal bobbin", "suction yarn air duct pressure balance system", "new collective yarn falling device and fine winding connection bridge", "high-speed bobbin motor technology and application", and "multi-motor control and anti-stacking system", striving to make the developed automatic winding machine and fine-spinning winding combined machine have the leading technology level in China and internationally. The project plans to introduce 3 production lines to form an annual production capacity of 3,000 automatic winding machines and fine-spinning winding combined machines. After full production, it is expected to achieve sales of 3.6 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 300 million yuan.
As the largest manufacturer of pre-spinning cotton cleaning equipment in China, Sula (Jintan) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., has launched its self-developed intelligent combing and combing integrated equipment based on years of market experience. It is understood that Sula (Jintan) will further expand its industrial chain and explore the international market in the future, striving to become a world-class pre-spinning complete equipment system supplier by 2012. The main research project of Jiangsu Wangong Technology Group is air-jet looms, with textile machinery mainly based on the WG2000 air-jet loom, which has applied for 55 invention patents and 50 utility model patents.
“It’s gratifying that Jiangsu textile machinery companies are not only not weakening their interest in new product development, but are instead increasing their efforts and accelerating their pace,” Wang Zhijie said happily. “This will be the hope of Jiangsu’s textile machinery and equipment industry.”
